How this race works

Four candidates filed for one seat, more than twice the number of openings, so Kentucky law (KRS 83A.170) required a nonpartisan primary on May 19. Terry Owens (857) and Toshie Murrell (862) advanced to the November 3, 2026 general election, where Radcliff voters choose the mayor. Douglas Goodman and Michelle Mitchell did not advance and are not on the November ballot.
