POLICE: 3-year-old suffers leg injury after Radcliff woman swings him, then loses grip
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Radcliff woman has been arrested after police say she admitted to swinging her 3-year-old great nephew “too hard,” an act that ended with a leg injury.
According to an arrest report, it happened just after 10 p.m. on Monday at a home in the 100 block of Daniel Court, near the intersection of Rogersville Road and S. Logsdon Parkway.
Radcliff Police say 33-year-old Meghan Freeman told them she became frustrated after her great nephew failed to listen and “clean up a mess he helped to create.” In order to discipline him, she told him he would be placed in “time out.”
Police say she then picked him up “in a swinging motion” and lost her grip. This likely contributed to the boy sustaining a leg injury, according to the arrest report.
