Elizabethtown police are searching for suspects responsible for “smash and grab” thefts from multiple parked vehicles.

Local authorities say they responded to 12 reports of theft from automobiles. Six reports came from the Freeman Lake area, while the six other reports were from the University Drive area.

Authorities say that the suspects smashed the car windows and stole purses and other valuable items that were visible through the window. Reports claim that the suspects got away in a white Chevrolet or GMC SUV. Suspects were later spotted at Walmart, Target, and Walgreens.

Police urge that you secure these items or place in your trunk to prevent similar acts of theft.

If you recognize either of these suspects, please contact Elizabethtown Police at 270-765-4125
