POLICE: Radcliff woman arrested after 6 kids found living in ‘odor and filth’


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Radcliff woman was arrested Thursday night after police say six juveniles were found living amid “odor and filth” in a “completely unlivable” home.

According to an arrest report, police executed a search warrant on the Radcliff home just after 8 p.m. According to Radcliff Police, 43-year-old Stephanie Yarnell had been living there for 3-1/2 years.
Police say they found heroin, methamphetamine, narcotic pills, marijuana and a loaded long-rifle inside the home. According to the arrest report, all of these items were “readily accessible” to six juveniles who were living there.
“The conditions of the residence and childrens’ room were completely unlivable, and the odor and filth was unacceptable,” the arrest report states.


Police say Yarnell, “engaged in conduct that created a substantial danger of health or serious physical injury.”

She was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment. Yarnell is currently being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.
