LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A suspect was arrested in Hardin County after police say he sodomized and sexually abused a 17-year-old girl.
According to an arrest report, the incident took place on June 24, at a party in Hardin County.
Kentucky State Police say 25-year-old Jarret Sadler didn’t know the 17-year-old victim. He is accused of subjecting her to a sex act against her will, fondling her and forcing her to perform a sex act on him
Police say the girl was under the influence of alcohol at the time, and told Sadler to stop, but he continued.
Sadler’s place of employment is listed on the report as the Red Cross. Police say the crime had no connection with his employment there.
Police said that Sadler is a flight risk, since he is a native of Texas and is only expected to be in Kentucky for five months.
He was arrested Tuesday night and charged with second-degree sodomy and first-degree sex abuse.
He is currently being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.
