Central Hardin High School will host an event that will include law enforcement officers speaking about school safety TONIGHT @ 6 pm. It will take place in the schools Commons Area.

Inspired by fellow retired teacher, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, Elizabethtown Hardin Larue Retired Teachers Association (EHLRTA) donated funds to purchase school supplies for Elizabethtown Independent School District, Hardin County Schools and Larue County Schools giving students needed tools for success. Dr. Andrus founded the National Retired Teachers Association in 1948 and AARP then years later with a vision of service to others. Taking advantage of a match grant funded by AARP-KY and KRTA, the EHLRTA launched their effort in the same spirit of service for the students of EIS, HCS, and LCS. ... See MoreSee Less

Happy Safe Schools Week! Our schools have tremendous relationships with our first responders and we are grateful for all of them!!! Capt. Matt Johnson, some fellow Kentucky State Police troopers and some Hardin County Sheriff's Office, Kentucky deputies visited with students today at Creekside Elementary.
