Hardin County Girl Scouts
Girl Scout cookies are the largest girl led business in the world. It’s not just a box of cookies, by buying a box you are opening the world to a girl and her troop. Hardin County’s Troop 495 is one of the largest troops in the area and have been a troop for 7 years. They have girls ranging from Kindergarten all the way to senior in high school. This troop was the top selling troop in South Hardin for the last several years. This year they are selling cookies to help fund the troops many community service projects as well as trips. In the last year the troop raised funds to purchase cots for the homeless and bake and served desserts for the local Christmas Eve Eve dinner. Troop 495 loves to camp and go on many adventures. Currently they are saving up to take a week long trip to Gatlinburg.
Their home base is Vineyard church in downtown Elizabethtown, for the next 3 Saturdays they will be set up in the parking lot of the church selling cookies, just like a drive thru. There will also be booths set up all over Hardin county. By March 18th cookie sales will end and you won’t have another chance to get the cookies til next year. So get out there and support the local Girl Scouts!
