“To follow up on today’s earlier release, the homicide victim has been identified as Xedric McNeil, age 20, of Elizabethtown. The suspect has been identified as Charles Roberson Jr, age 29, also of Elizabethtown. A warrant has been issued for Roberson for the charges of Murder and Wanton Endangerment 1st degree. Roberson’s whereabouts are currently unknown, but he is to be considered armed and extremely dangerous. We are asking for the public’s help in locating him. We are also encouraging Roberson to do the right thing and turn himself in. “Last night, shortly after 11:00 pm, police were called to the 300 block of Diecks Drive in reference to a report of multiple shots fired. A male subject was found lying on the ground in a parking lot in the area, and was later pronounced deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. A homicide investigation is underway, and there are no further details at this time.”
The victims ID has yet to be released nor any other details except for the above statement from Officer Thomas of the EPD.
