Bust leads to drugs, guns and money

K9 Officer Smith, Lola, and members of the Greater Hardin County Narcotic’s Task Force executed a search warrant on a house on Village Drive on Sunday, which netted 15 pounds of high-grade marijuana, marijuana extracts, three ounces of cocaine, 111 Oxycodone pills, 168 Xanax pills, three pistols and more than $15,000. One of the pistols was discovered to have been stolen. Two vehicles were also seized. James M. Richardson, 36, of Elizabethtown was charged with trafficking marijuana over five pounds, trafficking in controlled substance, first and third degrees, possession of handgun by convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Calena K Falkner, 27, of Elizabethtown was charged with trafficking marijuana over five pounds, first-degree trafficking in controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Great job to Officer Smith and Lola, who began the investigation, and the Task Force for their unwavering dedication in the fight against the drug trade in our area!
