Many of the bars and restaurants listed are in downtown Elizabethtown which is pretty impressive. If you tried to find a place to have a drink three years ago in downtown Elizabethtown you would be out of luck. We know first hand when we moved our office downtown 3-4 years ago the only retail hangout was Vibe Coffee and also Cobblers Cafe. Vibe & Cobblers Cafe are both great spots to enjoy a cup of joe, food, and a conversation with a friend. But now let’s talk Hardin County Night Life.

Looking to have a few drinks with family, friends, or colleagues? BBT has over 100 different bourbons, a fully stocked bar with beer on tap and in the bottle. You will also get to enjoy that small town bar atmosphere with good live music. If live music isn’t your scene you should still check out BBT prior to 8 pm (most live music starts around 8-9pm) and enjoy a few cocktails and hop on down to one of the other locations on this list… BBT was the first bar to open downtown Elizabethtown and it is one of our favorite nightlife spots in town.

If you enjoy craft beer Flywheel Brewing is Elizabethtown’s first and only micro-brewery to date. If you are looking for a spot to enjoy a conversation, play cornhole, and/or enjoy occasional live music all over the best craft beer made in Hardin County, Flywheel Brewing is your place. Flywheel Brewing recently won the best startup award in our region and with good reason, they know how to treat their customers well and are pretty good at brewing beer. Flywheel Brewing is a great option any night of the week and can get pretty insane (good) on the weekends. Flywheel Brewing is also dog-friendly!

If you are looking to eat and enjoy a few drinks Imps Etown has a full-service bar and a menu loaded with some tasty Italian grub. Located in the Elizabethtown square, Impelizarris is a fun place to eat and have drinks with friends and is also a family friendly environment for those who are looking to take the kids out to eat. They also have a rocking patio and some pretty amazing garage doors they open when the weather is nice. But even during the cold weather months Impellizzeri’s is a great place to start or end your evening out with family or friends.

Roxie’s is located next to the courthouse in Elizabethtown and is one of our favorite happy hour spots. They have a wonderful and affordable happy hour menu from 3-6pm Monday through Friday. The happy hour includes well drinks, margaritas, beer, and half price appetizers. Roxie’s is also a great spot to eat lunch and/or dinner. They have meeting space as well for corporate or family events. We highly recommended checking out Roxie’s next time you are downtown.

Deez Butts is the newest bar and restaurant in Hardin County. They have some amazing food and a full-service bar with plenty of TVs to watch your team play. They also have the best wings in the county, in our opinion. We enjoy the late night happy hour at Deez Butts as well. If you are looking for a fun spot to eat, drink, and spend time with friends all while watching a game Deez Butts is your newest option in town.

We love eating lunch and dinner with friends at Wings and Rings. Every Tuesday we stop in and enjoy their wing special. Wings and Rings even threw me a birthday party earlier in the year. They have prompt service and some of the best quality chicken wings in town along with a full-service sports bar and a family-friendly environment.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Elizabethtown is almost always open. They offer a full-service bar, food, so many TVs I lost track when trying to count them, and a covered patio. If you are a UFC fan this is probably the only bar in town that will show the fight. It is also a comfortable spot to catch a football or basketball game.

Are you ready to get outside of the norm? The Spot may not even be in Hardin County but we still consider it a Hardin County favorite. On the weekends they stay open till 2 am and they have pool tables! We have had several fun nights singing Kareokee, playing pool, and cornhole at The Spot and we encourage you to try out The Spot next time you are ready for a Friday or Saturday night adventure. You can even smoke inside at The Spot.

Good food, cold beer, pool tables, darts, and good times is the word on the street for Otter Creek Tavern. Otter Creek Tavern serves lunch and dinner and has a full-service bar. We have heard they also have a pretty good fish sandwich. Can’t you still smoke inside, pretty sure the answer is yes!
