LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 38-year-old Elizabethtown man has been charged with rape after police say he had a sexual relationship with a girl over the past several months, beginning when she was 15.
According to an arrest report, officers with the Elizabethtown Police Department were called to Hardin Memorial Hospital on Monday to speak with a 16-year-old girl who may have conceived a child by 38-year-old Frederico Huerta-Pedraza.
The girl said they’d been living together in Elizabethtown for the previous three or four months and had been sexually active during that time.
When confronted, Huerta-Pedraza told officers that he’d met the girl about 10-11 months earlier, when she was 15, and that they’d been “dating” and sexually active since then.
Huerta-Pedraza was arrested and charged with third-degree rape. He is currently being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.
